Laura Katarína Bánovská

I am a student at the Slovak Medical University in Bratislava, where I continue to study physiotherapy. At the same time, I work as a physiotherapist in a private medical facility. I found myself in physiotherapy and it became my passion. I am constantly trying to acquire new knowledge and apply it to my own practice (rehabilitation, massage and mobilization techniques). After graduating, I plan to do an international pilates school – BASI and also take a DNS (dynamic neuromuscular stabilization) course. I also expanded my education with the method of kinesiotaping.

In my work, I focus mainly on strengthening the deep stabilization system and strengthening weakened and pulling out shortened muscle structures.

My next passion is dance. In my free time I am actively involved in ballroom dancing at a representative level and I have recently discovered the beauties of swing.

In the DO Pilates studio, I teach Pilates Physio, Pilates Barre and Black Roll stretching classes.

I’m looking forward to everyone who can’t attend the studio during the week.
